Crusher Run is a red gravel with rock sizes up to 50mm. This makes it a great sub-base for driveways and suitable for under concrete slabs. When screened to remove the fines, it can also be used for drainage.

Red Gravel, which is sometimes called decomposed granite, has rock sizes up to 30mm. This makes it great for the top finishing layer of driveways and paths. It may also be suitable to use in rammed earth applications.

Washed White Sharp Sand is a fine white silica sand (grain sizes less than 1mm), that has been...well, it's been washed!

Washed White Sharp Sand can be used in applications like coring lawns, laying synthetic turf, grouting tiles, and the laying of glass bricks.

Spalls range from 75mm up to sizes 300mm+. These bluestone rocks are great to use in open drains and can also be used for garden edges. (We don’t recommend them for fire pits.)

Fat Sand, also called Brickie’s sand, is what you need for making mortar for laying and pointing bricks and for grouting. When mixed with coarse sand, it can also be used for rendering. It may also be a suitable bedding around pond liner pools.

We stock this Yellow Fat Sand and also produce Grey Fat Sand (which is white-grey in colour) on site.

Fat sand is not suitable for making concrete, drainage applications or growing grass.

Gum Bark is shredded bark from hardwood gumtrees. Gum Bark is really good in gardens as a mulch and may be suitable for windy areas.

Soft Bark is a pine bark that is approximately 18mm and less in size. This is a great product to use around and under play equipment in play grounds. Soft Bark can also be used for footpaths. It is not suitable for windy areas.

Sandy Loam is a sandy soil that has been screened with a soil acidity of around pH 5 to pH 6. Sandy Loam can be used for native plants, to cover transpiration pits, and be mixed into the top layer of clay soils.

Lawn Mix is a screened soil blended with our own Soil Conditioner. Lawn Mix is great for both seeded lawns and under instant turf.

Coarse Sand, sometimes referred to as Goats Bluff Sand, has a grain size of 5mm and less. It’s really good for use under pavers and in potting sands and mixes. It might also be suitable in applications such as rendering, absorption pits, and dressage arenas.

Garden Mix is a mix of Special Loam, Coarse Sand and Potting Sand, blended with our own Soil Conditioner (which includes Aglime and chicken manure). It has grain sizes up to 8mm and an acidity of around pH 6.5.

Garden Mix is excellent in raised garden beds and for plants such as vegetables and flowers.

(This product is not suitable for native plants and other plants requiring a low pH. For these applications, we recommend our Plain Loam.)

Fertilised Loam is a blend of sandy and heavy soils with added Aglime, chicken manure and our own Soil Conditioner. This product is perfect for top dressing lawns and for vegetable gardens.

Soil Conditioner is our in-house mix of composted hardwood and softwood sawdust and soft bark, blended with Ag lime and chicken manure.

Tassie Gold 20mm is a yellow limestone and has stone sizes from 14-20mm. This product can be used for pathways and in garden beds as a decorative mulch. The larger stones create a loose surface, and therefore 20mm may not by suitable for driveways.

Tassie Gold Fines is a yellow limestone and has dust to stones 7mm in size. This product is great for pathways.
